Vellore Institute of Technology

Vellore Institute of Technology is a Banglore based institute which was established under the aegis of VIT Institutions and offers a wide range of Post Graduation in the discipline of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information System, Cybersecurity and Data Science etc. Admission to the college’s courses is granted to aspiring candidates based on their merit and performance in respective Bachelor and Master Degrees. VIT has established an academic and research unit called the International Center for Education and Research (ICER), whose prime responsibility is to offer short-term technology programs to Indian students at its Partner University along with various kinds of academic and research programs to international scholars and faculty. In addition to all this, the main aim behind the foundation of ICER was to provide a suitable learning platform and technology incubator to students, professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs and industry experts in order to carry out research and innovation activities and also to prepare ambitious youths in accordance with corporate and dynamic world requirements.

The institute has a wonderful team of highly educated and extensively experienced faculty members to teach students and international universities and institutes including University of Michigan – Dearborn, Binghamton University of New York, Rochester Institute of Technology and University of Maryland – Baltimore are the academic partners of VIT Banglore for academic session 2023-24.

Apart from this, some top-notch research and project associates of the college are US based Faculty of the Data Driven Social Science - Princeton University, Faculty of the Critical Data Team at MIT, EPICS Team at Purdue University along with UK based Faculty of the UCL Engineering - University College of London and Faculty of Robotics and Engineering - Swinburne University of Technology.
